'Trouble' With Stairs

Zoe Moore arrives at the foot of a bright, narrow staircase poured in honey light, her dark hair falling in a heavy curtain across one pale shoulder and her lips painted a deep, vintage plum. She wears a clinging little black mini dress that skims every line of her lithe, willowy figure, the hem riding high enough to reveal the bare band of porcelain thigh above glossy black stockings clipped to delicate suspender straps. Leopard-print stilettos punctuate each step as she climbs, glancing back over her shoulder with the quiet confidence of a woman who knows exactly how the light is catching her.
Midway up the flight, Zoe pauses and lets the dress slip from her shoulders, revealing a sheer black lace bra and matching knickers beneath, her back arched just enough to show the long, flattering curve of her waist and the shadowed softness of her bust pressed against the banister. Higher still, she hooks her thumbs into the lace at her hips and teases the knickers downward, skin luminous against the dark stockings and the white risers. She finishes leaning into the angled wall with a private half smile, all suspender clips and sculpted calves, the kind of image that turns a simple staircase into something worth writing home about.
