Perfect Polkadots

Mia Sollis drifts across a rumpled bed like something out of a Pre-Raphaelite painting in Perfect Polkadots, her extraordinary copper hair flowing in long waves against cream linen and chunky knit cushions. A sheer navy babydoll, flecked with tiny polka dots, clings to her slender frame, its ruffled hem barely grazing the lace tops of her dark hold-up stockings. The rustic stone wall and wooden window frame lend the room an old-world calm, and the soft daylight filtering through the curtain picks out every freckle on her porcelain skin. She lies back among the pillows with her eyes half-closed, one hand tangled in her hair, looking like a secret the room is keeping.
Gradually the sheer fabric falls open, then away. Mia sits up at the bed's edge and lets the deep plunge of the babydoll reveal the gentle slope of her chest before she eases back once more, bare from the waist up, one stockinged leg raised lazily toward the stone ceiling. Her small, delicate breasts rise and fall with each breath, her alabaster stomach a pale canvas in the muted light, and the river of red hair fans out beneath her like spilled silk. The mood is hushed and unhurried, every frame composed with a painter's eye, and by the close of the set there is nothing left but Mia, the dark stockings, and the quiet feeling that you have glimpsed something genuinely rare.
